Redmi will launch their latest Note 9 phone range tomorrow on the 12th of March, it is expected that there will be three phones, the standard Redmi Note 9, the Note 9 Pro, and then a Note 9 Pro Max.
It is almost certain that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 720G which is also found on the Realme 6 Pro.
For the most affordable Note 9 model it is expected the phone will get the new MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, which was recently announced, and features in the Realme C3.
This information comes from a Geekbench listing showing a
phone called Xiaomi Merlin which scores lower than the Geekbench result from
the Pro model.
The result shows the phone running 6GB of RAM, which is higher than the base Pro model of 4GB. It could be that multiple configurations are launched with 4GB and 6GB options.
It is also believed the smaller Redmi 9 will feature the MediaTek Helio G70.
