£60 off a Huawei Matebook D 14, now £490: Huawei’s MateBook D 14 is a good-looking laptop that will serve students well. We’ve seen better displays and used more powerful Windows 10 machines than this Ryzen 5 model but for this price it’s a good’un.
£200 off ASUS ZenBook Flip UX363EA, now £800: This ASUS convertible brings us the first big deal on latest Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors this Black Friday. Alongside 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, the new chips will offer strong productivity performance in a thin and light form-factor with the added bonus of some entry-level gaming and creative capabilities.
£51 off an Acer Chromebook R 13, now £350: We haven’t tested this exact model but here £350 gets you a floppy 13.3-inch Acer Chromebook with MediaTek innards – they’re taking over the world – and a Full HD screen.


£120 off Microsoft Surface Pro 7, now £659: If you’re looking for the versatility of a convertible with the capabilities of a fully-fledged operating system, Microsoft still offers one of the best devices around with the Surface Pro 7. This model offers capable specs and can be picked up alongside the currently discounted Surface Type Cover (£94).
£50 off Apple MacBook Air, now £919: While it isn’t sporting the latest Apple M1 processor – as per the new MacBook Air with M1 (£999), discounts on MacBook’s aren’t all that common so £50 off the previous models isn’t to be sniffed at. Both John Lewis and Currys are offering the Intel i3 model at this reduced rate.
£100 off Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15.6-inch, now £279: A WIRED Recommends rated laptop for its strong budget chops, this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is a great entry-level laptop for the modest web-browser or word processor. An already impressive product ahead of this more than welcome £100 discount.
