The best Prime Day deals (that are actually deals) on day two

What’s the real saving? Despite the £220 RRP, everyone had these at £170 before Prime Day, so this price of £130 is a tidy saving – it’s also the lowest price these earphones have ever gone on Amazon.

The Sennheiser M3AEBTXL should be near the top of your list if you want great-sounding headphones with active noise cancellation. Their top feature is, as with all the best Sennheiser pairs, sound quality. Mid-range texture and detail simple beats that of most of the competition, including the pairs that earned a lot more attention like those from Sony and Bose. Until now we’d have considered £290 a good price. It’s a solid saving for the audio crowd.

True wireless earbuds are undoubtedly a competitive field, yet these LG Bluetooth 5.0 buds deliver balanced, spritely sound in a quality build. They’re even comfortable to wear. Want more? How about UVnano technology that uses UV light to clean the earbuds of bacteria when they’re charging in their little case. At £100, this is the cheapest these headphones have been on Amazon.

Amazon Prime Day camera deals

This ultra-advanced 1in sensor compact is the kind of camera that will get you out shooting more often. It originally cost over £1,000 and has 4K video capture, unlike some of the earlier models in the long-standing, much-loved RX100 series.

This bundle includes the compact Canon EOS RP full-frame camera and an f/1.8 35mm prime lens worth over £500 on its own.  It’s a high-end bundle at kit lens money.

Amazon Prime Day smart home deals

What is it? We’ve named this latest Dot the best budget Echo you can buy in our best Alexa tech roundup, and rightly so. This is the perfect entry-level product to get into smart-home devices, plus alongside the much-improved design this is the best-sounding Dot, too, with  fuller bass and less distortion than the previous version. You can even stereo pair two together, the ideal option for bedside nightstands.
What’s the real saving? This is the keenest price the 4th gen Echo Dot with clock has been on Amazon yet, so the 42 per cent discount seems legit. You have to go back to November last year to see a similar price, but at just £35 this is still lower.

Fire TV Sticks are regularly on sale from Amazon but they’ve got an extra bump for Prime Day. The 4K version does a great job visually, offers handy Alexa integration (obviously) and provides access to Prime Video, Disney+ and more.

What is it? This is one of the best smart security cameras you can buy right now. Yes, Ring devices don’t have the very best specs or the most advanced features, but, crucially, they are the most reliable, delivering consistently clear video. The Ring Stick Up Cam can be used indoors or out, has a laudably versatile mounting system, comes in black or white, and can be powered by battery, solar or plugged in.
What’s the real saving? The Ring Stick Up Cam has only even gone down to this price briefly once before in November last year, and it’s never been lower, so £30 off such a good home-security product is a win.

Cut down on your plastic use with this sparkling water maker. It includes a gas canister to fizz up 60L of water, and a 1L Sodastream bottle. And, yes, you can add classic SodaStream syrup if you want flavour.
