Earlier today Mediatek announced their new Dimensity 820, unlike their recent list of disappointing releases this new chipset is a massive boost over the Dimensity 800 with a 30% increase in the CPU frequencies and a 25% increase in the GPU core count.
We already knew that Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi were going to be the first company to use the new chipset and they have now announced that the Redmi 10X will be the phone to feature it.
The new phone launches on the 26th May 2020 and looks set to be one of the best-valued phones on the market offering incredible performance, 5G connectivity and a low price.
