If you are looking for an affordable phone that just works without being sluggish and can take a few decent photos too, the new Poco M3 could fit the bill.
Priced at 149 euros with 4GB+64GB or 169 euros with 4GB+128GB this should be available in the UK for under £140 for the base model.
While not as exciting as flagship phones or even affordable 5G phones, this sort of phone is perhaps more appealing to people not obsessed about tech.
The specs a good enough that this phone should handle everything comfortably without slowing down. The 48MP primary camera should be able to take some decent photos and this is then paired up with two less useful sensors.
Perhaps one of the stand out features is the absolutely huge 6,000mAh battery.
The overall specification is very similar to the Realme 7i which is yet to launch in the UK, but that has a lower resolution display, though bizarrely has a 90hz refresh rate.
While this offers an incredible spec for the price, for a bit more money you can get a lot more phone. During the Black Friday period, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G is just £199 which is an incredible phone for the price.
